Product Introduction
To judge water-soluble chitosan, as long as it is dissolved in
water, the first to see whether the solution is sticky, no sticky
is low molecular chitin or low molecular chitosan; Secondly, adding
a few drops of NaOH solution to the aqueous solution, which
produces turbidity or precipitation, is the chitosan hydrochloride,
because the hydrochloric acid in it is neutralized by alkali, and
chitosan is insoluble in neutral or alkaline water. If you add a
few drops of HCl solution and it becomes cloudy, it is
carboxymethyl chitosan, because carboxymethyl chitosan is actually
the sodium salt of carboxymethyl chitosan, and if this solution is
acidified, it is no longer a sodium carboxylic acid, but a
carboxylic acid, and it is not soluble in acidic water.
Character
Off-white or yellowish powder with odorless, innocuous. Water
soluble, the solution is neutral, clear and stable.
Applications
Chitosan lactate with a better biocompatibility has excellent
functions of antibacterial activity, moisture retention, prevent
disease, keep healthy and other special purposes etc. It is widely
used in the fields like dressing, hygienic materials, biochemistry,
health foods, functional food, food additives, intermediates and so
